With groundbreaking enhancements in AI capabilities becoming available, Olympia is set to offer a more enriched, seamless, and powerful experience to our customers.

GPT-4 Turbo: Expanding the Realm of Possibilities

We're thrilled to stretch the legs of our conversation with GPT-4 Turbo's expansive 128K context window. This enhancement means our users can enjoy deeper, more nuanced conversations without our AI assistants forgetting details of what you were discussing. For our document generation tasks, the longer context means we're shifting gears from use of competing models to GPT-4, promising a significant leap in the quality and coherence of the generated content.

Assistants API

The brand new Assistants API opens a new chapter in our development story, where speed meets efficiency. Olympia's existing code will be getting a revamp to leverage the new capabilities offered by OpenAI, ensuring that our development team can focus on innovative new features and integrations. In particular, we want to accelerate our plans for independent agent behaviors that will bring a new level of autonomy and intelligence to our platform.

The addition of Retrieval capabilities into the API augments our assistants with knowledge from outside of their base models (such as uploaded documents, emails, and data from other 3rd party integrations.) It means we don’t need to maintain so many of our own embedding, chunking and search algorithms. In fact, anticipation of this API feature is the reason that our current file upload capability only adds the plain text version of your document into the conversation context.

Multimodal Capabilities

Multimodal capabilities represent a promising new frontier for Olympia's feature set. A web or graphic designer assistant is one of our top customer requests, and we think that by using GPT-4's vision and DALL·E 3 APIs it will be possible to make one. Though costs are still an important consideration, we're dedicated to offering these groundbreaking features to our premium users as soon as possible, exploring new horizons of interaction where text and visuals merge seamlessly.
