Understanding Conversations and Archiving

One of Olympia's most useful features is the ability to create distinct conversations that now are automatically archived over time. This will help you keep your experience organized and clutter-free.

If a conversation exceeds the token limit, Olympia employs methods like recursive summarization to condense the existing context while retaining important information. 

Archiving conversations is key to preventing message overload and confusion. It allows our AI assistants to engage in more meaningful, in-depth discussions by clearing out old or inactive chats.

We highly recommend starting a new conversation whenever you switch topics or projects with your AI companion. This will lead to more productive interactions and better memory. Hover over the assistant’s avatar in the list and tap on the green plus to start a new conversation. You also can see the list of your recent conversations with an active AI assistant below the avatar, and click on “Start new conversation.“

By the way, did you know that you can now type in and edit the generated long-form copy by our AI copywriter Leticia right in the documents she provides? Tap the save button below it to save your document after polishing the text, and copy to paste it wherever you need it. Soon you’ll be able to download the documents locally!

Enhanced Copy Button and Syntax Highlighting

We're excited to announce a new enhancement for users who share code snippets and listings - programming-language aware colorized syntax highlighting!

Code blocks now appear with colorized syntax to improve readability, detect errors, and visually distinguish elements. This makes reviewing and troubleshooting code much easier.

In addition, we've added a new copy button that lets you instantly copy code blocks with one click for easy pasting elsewhere. No more manually selecting and copying multi-line snippets!

Sustainable Usage: We Ban Abusers

As Olympia continues to grow, we want to take a moment to kindly remind everyone about using the app ethically and sustainably. We know how exciting and useful Olympia can be, but we also pay a significant amount to maintain the advanced AI technology that powers it.

Currently, we have no message caps in place. However, this also means the costs scale quickly with usage. As a small startup, we need to ensure resources are distributed fairly across all users. Excessive overuse unfairly takes away from others' experience.

Therefore, we kindly ask that you use Olympia's abilities respectfully. Please avoid spamming or abusing the system just to generate high message volumes. Our goal is to provide a high-quality experience for all users.

Acting ethically helps us keep our unlimited messaging policy and advanced capabilities running smoothly for everyone. We'll ban the abusers, and those will no longer be able to use Olympia. Thank you for understanding!

Beta Lifting Announcement With a Surprise
