Exciting October: Olympia's Hard Launch, New Document Features, and More!
We're so excited. Are you?
This piece is co-created with Olympia’s AI Copywriter, Leticia Sanchez.
How cool is that Olympia will be hard launching at the end of October! We had our soft launch in May, and after the recent graduation from beta and seeing the consistent growth and MRR, we're ready to broaden our horizons. We want to make more users happy by helping them streamline their operations, be more productive and efficient, eliminating the need for extensive hires while driving business growth.
Deep gratitude to all our users for their insightful feedback! It has been invaluable in helping us refine and improve our product. Day by day, we are making enhancements to our existing features to ensure Olympia meets your needs in the best possible way.
We're excited to bring you some updates on the new features we've been working on. Here's what's new and what's coming soon at Olympia:
Exporting Documents Made Easy
Exporting documents (written by our AI copywriter, Leticia Sanchez) is now easier than ever in Olympia. With the latest product update, you can quickly export documents to editable Word docs or sharable PDFs. This new feature lets you seamlessly transfer Olympia content into external formats for continued editing or sharing outside the app.
Steps to export:
1. Open the conversation with Leticia with a document message you want to export.
2. Click on the 3-dot menu in the top right corner of the message.
3. Select the "Export" option.
4. Choose to export as a Word (.docx) file or PDF.
5. The document will download automatically to your computer in the selected format.
That's it! With just a few clicks, you can export any document in Olympia to a format that is easy to share and work with outside the platform. Note that exporting is limited to long-format documents, the messages with white backgrounds handled by Leticia and Calvin, and not regular chat messages.
Supported formats:
The .docx format will retain all the original formatting of the Olympia document. Headers, text styling, images, and tables will be preserved. This allows users to open the exported Word doc and edit while maintaining the look and feel.
PDF is a fixed layout format optimized for printing and distribution. All the visual elements will be retained, but the doc will be non-editable. PDF works well for sharing a "snapshot" of the document.
We will add more formats over time. If you have suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via support@olympia.chat.
Uploading Documents: Coming Soon!
Good news! The highly requested feature of uploading documents is now on the horizon. This game-changer is currently being tested and will be available to all Growth and Pro Plus plan users by the end of October.
Uploading documents into Olympia will allow you to provide any source file—from documents to spreadsheets and presentations—that can be converted into text content. Olympia will handle the conversion, ensuring the attached content is comprehensible to your AI virtual assistant.
And there's more! You can instruct Olympia to glean as much as possible from the uploaded document, adding the learnings to the shared long-term memory of your entire team. This is an exceptional way to leverage document uploads to enhance your team's collective knowledge.
However, do keep in mind that this feature will be exclusive to our Growth and Pro Plus plans. If this sounds like a feature that could boost your team's productivity, it might be time to consider an upgrade.
As always, we're excited to hear your feedback once these features go live. Your insights help us to improve and serve you better continuously. We’re preparing more exciting improvements and features, so stay tuned. Get ready for the end of October! We hope you are as excited as we are.
